Who is responsible

MAV is the portfolio brand of Oussama Zeddam, an individual based in Algiers, Algeria. Oussama decides why and how the information described in this notice is used for this website.

Privacy questions, access requests and deletion requests can be sent to sam@mavrick.one. Please do not include passwords, API keys or other secrets in an inquiry.

Information collected

You can browse the portfolio without creating an account. The site collects the following categories of information when they are relevant to how you use it:

  • Project inquiries: your name, work email, company, company website, project category, current problem, desired outcome, budget and timeline when you use the optional contact form.
  • Campaign and referral data: UTM campaign fields and selected advertising click identifiers present in a page URL. These values are kept in browser session storage so attribution can follow you from an entry page to a contact page; UTM values may be included with a submitted inquiry.
  • Technical and usage data: page paths, referring URLs, browser and device signals, approximate network information, and interactions such as selected calls to action or form progress when measurement providers are active.
  • Direct messages: anything you choose to send by email, WhatsApp, Upwork or another linked service is handled by that service and under its own privacy notice.

The site does not use session replay and does not maintain an application database of contact messages. Analytics events are designed not to include your name, email address, company, website or project narrative.

How information is used

Information is used to:

  • review and respond to a project inquiry or direct request;
  • deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website and its contact endpoint;
  • understand which pages, content and calls to action are useful; and
  • measure campaign and conversion performance where measurement is enabled.

MAV does not sell or rent your inquiry information. No automated decision is made about whether to accept an engagement; project inquiries are reviewed personally. Depending on your location and the context, processing may rely on responding to your request, steps taken before an engagement, legitimate interests in operating a secure site, consent, or another basis permitted by applicable law.

Measurement and cookies

The site uses Google Analytics, Meta measurement and X conversion measurement. These services may receive page, browser, device, referral and interaction data under their own policies. Provider-controlled cookies or identifiers may also be used. The site does not use a session-replay service.

Google Analytics

The Google tag can receive page views and interaction events across the site. For contact interactions, events may include a project category, budget range and timeline. The site does not intentionally send form names, email addresses, company names, websites or project narratives as analytics event properties. Campaign parameters can still appear in a page URL or referrer processed by a provider.

Meta measurement

Meta Pixel browser measurement is enabled by default unless you disable it. It may receive page-view, contact and lead events without the contents of your project form. When a valid signed preference and the server configuration are present, a delivered inquiry may also produce one matching server-side Lead event. That event can use a one-way email hash, browser user-agent, Cloudflare-provided IP address and valid Meta identifiers for matching; it does not include your project narrative, company, website, budget, timeline or campaign text.

You can change this Meta measurement preference at any time. A denial stops future site-initiated Meta events and attempts to clear first-party Meta identifiers where the browser permits. It cannot retract information already processed by Meta.

X measurement

X measurement is loaded after initial paint on the contact and hire pages, and may be warmed when you select a contact or hire call to action. Those pages can send a conversion event with a random conversion ID. If the server-side X configuration is enabled, a matching server event may also use the canonical page, a valid twclid, IP address and browser user-agent. It does not include project-form content.

Browser storage used by MAV

  • mav_marketing_consent stores the Meta measurement preference for up to 180 days.
  • mav_meta_consent_token is an HttpOnly, signed server assertion used for consented server-side Meta matching when configured, also for up to 180 days.
  • Browser session storage keeps campaign attribution between pages. Local storage may remember the reduced-effects display preference; neither is used to store a contact message.

Retention and providers

A valid inquiry is validated on the server and delivered to sam@mavrick.one through Resend. MAV does not retain the message in an application database. The email thread, delivery records and provider logs may be retained according to the relevant mailbox, hosting and provider policies, so there is no single fixed deletion period stated here.

The services currently relevant to this site are governed by their own notices:

These providers may process data outside Algeria or your country. Their policies explain their independent retention, security and international-transfer practices.

Your choices and rights

You may ask MAV to provide access to, correct or delete information held about you, or to explain how it is being used. Where applicable law gives you additional rights—such as restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent—we will handle a request made through the same contact address.

Send requests to sam@mavrick.one. We may need enough information to verify the request and will respond under the deadlines that apply to your situation. You can also manage provider-level advertising and analytics controls through your browser and the provider links above.

Security, children and changes

The contact endpoint uses server-side validation, same-origin checks and rate limiting. No internet transmission is completely risk-free, so do not submit credentials, secrets or sensitive personal information through this site.

This portfolio is not directed to children and does not knowingly request data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact MAV so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.

This notice may change when the site, providers or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies the current version; material changes will be reflected on this page.
